Chamber music at its finest and excellent regional wine - Welcome to the Konz Music Festival 2026 and to more than 30 years of the Master Academy in Konz.

With the sensual enjoyment of music, the Academy's lecturers Isabelle Trüb, Elisabeth Perry and Richard Wolfe, together with me, will open this year's festival at the highly esteemed Stefan Müller winery.

We are particularly looking forward to the impressive piano masterpieces with "our" esteemed music friend Joseph Moog, Grammy nominee, brilliant pianist, and former co-founder of the KonzMusikFestival. The renowned Pražák Quartet, one of the leading string quartets of our time, will perform, as will the versatile Kammerata Luxembourg, who will move between diverse sound worlds. The French string quartet "Quator Agate," named an ECHO Rising Star 2024 by the European Concert Hall Association, will perform at Haus Beda in Bitburg.
The academy's young, international musicians present their skills in "Classics in the Factory," at the Cantzheim Winery, at the Contemporaneum in Oberbillig, and in a joint concert with the Konz Gymnasium Big Band at the Margarethenhof Winery in Ayl.

A cheerful farewell to enjoy awaits you at the matinée with a piano quartet and the Utrecht Piano Trio in the St. Rochus Chapel in Nittel - a festive finale for all music lovers.

As part of the cooperation with the International Organ Concerts Konz, organ music with vocals will be presented.
