Chamber music is at its finest accompanied by outstanding regional wine – welcome to the Konz Music Festival 2026 and to more than 30 years of the Master Academy of Chamber Music in Konz! 

Together with the Academy faculty, Isabelle Trüb, Elisabeth Perry and Richard Wolfe, I will open this year’s festival showing our deep enjoyment of music partenered by the esteemed wines of Stefan Müller at his beautiful winery. 

We are particularly looking forward to impressive piano masterworks performed by “our” close musical friend Joseph Moog, Grammy nominee, brilliant pianist and former co-founder of the festival. The renowned Pražák Quartet, one of today’s leading string quartets, will also perform, as will the versatile Kammerata Luxembourg, which will provide us with different worlds of colour and sound. The French string quartet Quatuor Agate, which was named an ECHO Rising Star 2024 by the European Concert Hall Organisation, will perform at Haus Beda. 

The Academy’s young, international musicians will show off their skills in chamber music concerts at the Factory, the Cantzheim Winery, the Contemporaneum in Oberbillig and in a joint concert with the Konz Grammar School Big Band at the Margarethenhof Winery. 

A cheerful farewell for all tastes awaits you at a matinée with a piano quartet and the Utrecht Piano Trio in the St. Rochus Chapel in Nittel – a festive finale for all music lovers. 

Organ music with singing will be presented as part of the co-operation with the Konz International Organ Concerts.
