Musical enjoyment at the highest level
This is the leitmotif of the Konz Music Festival,located in the picturesque four-country corner of Germany, Luxembourg, France and Belgium.
The historic monastery of St. Bruno at the confluence of the Saar and Moselle inKonz is the venue for many concert events and home to the musical academy for musical masters of tomorrow.
Based on the 25-year tradition of the former Summer Academy, the newly designed International Master Academy will take place for the first time within the Konz Music Festival from August 21 to 27, 2021.
Here you will find selected young chamber musicians who, during the master class, will prepare their joint performances at the 'Spotlight Young Musicians' concerts on August 26 and 27 as part of the official festival program.
The academy not only offers the opportunity to work intensively with experienced teachers and receive valuable inspiration from internationally sought-after artists, but also to perform at the highest professional level and to make diverse contacts in the inspiring atmosphere of the festival.
The compilation of the limitedThe field of participants is exclusively by invitation.
The Master Academy is now accepting applications and recommendations for the instruments violin, viola, cello, piano and percussion.

Permanent ensembles can apply as a group.

Invited participants will receive chamber music and solo instruction and will be informed early on about the repertoire of the final academy concerts.
During the Master Academy, rehearsals for 'Spotlight Young Musicians' take place under the instruction of the lecturers in the form of master classes in the ballroom of the St. Bruno Monastery.

Attendance at all concerts of the Konz Music Festival is open to participants.
