The Academy not only offers the opportunity to work intensively with experienced teachers, especially in the master classes with the Pražák Quartet and Joseph Moog (piano), but also the chance to perform at the highest professional level and to make diverse contacts in the inspiring atmosphere of the festival.

Dieses Gebäude wurde 1969 als Verwaltungsgebäude der Firma Zettelmeyer, heute Volvo AG basierend auf Plänen des berühmten Architekten Egon Eiermann von der AG für Industrieplanung Essen geplant und von der Strabag-Bau AG aus größtenteils industriell vorgefertigten Teilen errichtet und 1970 in Betrieb genommen. Die Fassaden der Schmalseiten wurden durch den Maler Georg Meistermann (1911-1990) farblich besonders gestaltet und gelten heute als gelungenes Beispiel der Veränderung eines Zweckbaus durch farbliche Dekoration zu einem Gesamtkunstwerk und einer städtebaulichen Dominante.
Applications
The limited field of participants will be selected exclusively by invitation following applications.
The International Master Academy for Chamber Music is now accepting applications and recommendations for the instruments violin, viola, cello and piano.
Permanent ensembles can apply as a group.
The application deadline is July 1, 2025.
Invited participants will receive chamber music and solo instruction and will be informed early on about the repertoire of the final academy concerts.
Attendance at all concerts of the Konz Music Festival is open to participants.
Accommodation and meals
The Konz Music Festival traditionally accommodates the academics free of charge with selected Konz host families, who provide breakfast in addition to overnight accommodation.
The Konz Music Festival also collaborates with several regional hotels, offering overnight stays with breakfast at discounted rates.
In addition, a daily lunch, as well as coffee and tea, are provided free of charge for the academics.
