Continuing the more than 30 year old tradition of the former summer academy, the International Meisterakademie in Chamber Music will take place from the August 28 to September 7, 2025

International Master Academy for Chamber Music within the context of the Konz Musik Festival.
The young talented musicians and groups chosen to participate in the academy will perform in concerts, an integral part of the official festival program September 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7, 2025.

The Academy not only offers the opportunity to work intensively with experienced teachers, especially in the master classes with the Pražák Quartet and Joseph Moog (piano), but will also make invaluable lifelong contacts in the inspiring atmosphere that is the Konz Musik Festival.

Applications
Fixed ensembles are invited to apply as a group.
Permanent ensembles can apply as a group.
The application deadline is July 1, 2025.
Invited participants will receive solo and Chamber Music instruction and
will be informed well inadvance about the repertoire that will need to be prepared prior to the academy.
The academists will also have the opportunity and are highly encouraged to attend the concerts within the programme of the Konz Musik Festival.
Accommodation and meals
The Konz Music Festival traditionally accommodates the academics free of charge with selected Konz host families, who provide breakfast in addition to overnight accommodation.
The Konz Music Festival also collaborates with several regional hotels, offering overnight stays with breakfast at discounted rates.
In addition, a daily lunch, as well as coffee and tea, are provided free of charge for the academics.
