A summery energy fills the architecturally remarkable Cantzheim winery with Tatjana Ruhland, principal flutist of the SWR Symphony Orchestra, celebrated worldwide as the 'Paganini of the Flute', and her duo partner Ronith Mues, principal harpist of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. These two exceptional artists have put together a dazzling program and will treat guests to a veritable 'menu for the ears'. The Konz Music Festival is once again collaborating with the Konz International Organ Concerts, which are also celebrating their 10th anniversary this season.

An evening of exhilarating symphonic music with the Saarland State Youth Orchestra – great orchestral works interpreted by the Saarland's finest young talents. Led by Vilmantas Kaliunas on the podium, these young musicians will present masterpieces from the golden age of Romantic music. Grammy-nominated pianist Joseph Moog, a founding member and artistic director of the Konz Music Festival, will be featured as soloist. The grand finale of the Konz Music Festival 2022 takes place at the incomparable Van Volxem winery in Wiltingen. In the modern wine cellar, winemaker and owner Roman Niewodniczanski invites you to an evening with cult potential – Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter Gast Waltzing and his award-winning trio will bring exquisite jazz sounds and plenty of globetrotting flair. The program includes compositions from across the history of jazz, as well as original compositions by Gast Waltzing and David Laborier. Guests can also enjoy a flying dinner prepared by Jörg Linden and a selection of four glasses of fine wines from the Van Volxem estate. Let the festival summer come to a relaxed and highly inspired close.
