Pianist and composer Charles Herrig in a double act with oboist, author, cultural prize winner of the city of Aachen and “oboe doctor” Marc Schaeferdiek.
The two musicians come from very different worlds: Herrig lives and breathes jazz –
Schaeferdiek, a trained oboist and professor of oboe playing, not only impresses in
artistic expression, but also technical finesse and sonic perfection; among other thingsfor the WDR Radio Symphony Orchestra Cologne and singer-songwriter Reinhard Mey.
At the picturesque Cantzheim winery, they present melodies from all over the world.

With 'Carnival of the Animals', children, teenagers, and adults alike can experience the world-famous classic by Camille Saint-Saëns, celebrated on this anniversary, live and outdoors. Benjamin Schäfer from the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra guides the young talents of the Master Academy through the varied work. Pianist Kai Adomeit takes on the role of narrator and reads his own entertaining text.
