Open air concert at the Saar-Moselle estuary in Konz
Piano sounds of the highest class, masterfully interpreted by the pianistic cross-border artists Kai Adomeit and Joseph Moog.
The picturesque venue at the confluence of the Saar and Moselle rivers will be transformed into an open-air stage. Let yourself be enchanted by the atmosphere and experience a diverse keyboard firework display on the two exquisite Steinway grand pianos from Pianohaus Hübner.

Pianist and composer Charles Herrig in a double act with oboist, author, winner of the Aachen Cultural Prize and “Oboe Doctor” Marc Schaeferdiek.
The two musicians come from very different worlds: Herrig lives jazz –
As a trained oboist and professor for oboe playing, Schaeferdiek inspires not only in
artistic expression, but also with technical finesse and sound perfection; among othersfor the WDR Radio Symphony Orchestra Cologne and songwriter Reinhard Mey.

Benjamin Schäfer of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg will guide the young talents of the Master Academy through the diverse work. Pianist Kai Adomeit will take on the role of narrator and read his own entertaining text.

Hear the most beautiful works of chamber music interpreted by the stars of tomorrow, today. Prepared by the award-winning teachers of the 2021 Konz Music Festival for violin (Elisabeth Perry), viola (Richard Wolfe), Niall Brown (cello), Christopher Hastings (percussion), and Joseph Moog (piano), the young musicians will come together for a joint performance.
